Contemplations on the Noble Qur’an by Sh. Abul Hasan al Nadwi

The following attachment is a passage from Ta’ammulāt fi ’l-Qur’ān al-Karīm by Shaykh Abū ’l-Ḥasan ʿAlī al-Nadwī (d. 1999 CE)  regarding the common subtleties shared by both Hajj and the fasting in Ramaḍān.  It is a very beneficial piece which has been translated – to our knowledge – into English for the very first time by Mawlana Shahin ur-Rahman from England.

Shaykh Abul Hasan was an expert scholar in the field of Qur’ānic studies and his present work is a collection of his articles on selected portions of the Qur’ān, whereupon he noted, in Arabic, the gems and in-depth marvels with which Allāh ﷻ had inspired him in his heart. Such works open up the wonders of the Qur’ān to the public, and is a fantastic way to appreciate the miraculous and wondrous nature of the Qur’ān.

The whole work is currently undergoing a full English translation by the above named Mawlana and the readers are requested to supplicate to Allah that it is completed and published in the near future by Allah’s will.
