Reply to Muqbil ibn Hadi for weakening Imam Abu Hanifa as a reliable transmitter of Hadith
04 Sep, 2017
This is a reply to the work known as Nashr al-Sahifa fi Dhikr al-Sahih min Aqwal A’immat al-Jarh wa al-Ta`dil fi Abi Hanifa by the late Yemeni Salafi writer Muqbil ibn Hadi al-Wadi’i (d. 2001), by the Yemeni Hanafi Shaykh known as Muhammad Ahmed Amuh. It is entitled – Al-Kalimat al-Sharifa wa’l Manaratul Munifa fi Tanzih Abi Hanifa min al-Aqwali al-Sakhifa allati nasharaha al-Wadi’i fi taswidi al-Sahifa. The reply is in excess of 500 pages.
The reply is also an indirect response to the associates of Muqbil ibn Hadi, like his fellow Salafi sect leader, the late Nasirud-Din al-Albani (d. 1999) and others who followed their track in this age in attempting to weaken the status of the Imam and Mujtahid of his age, Abu Hanifa al-Nu’man ibn Thabit al-Kufi (80-150 AH, rahimahullah), as a reliable transmitter of Hadith.
A work in reply to al-Albani was also compiled by the late Pakistani Shaykh, Abdur Rashid al-Nu’mani (d. 1999). See – HERE
